Compliment Employees Can't remember the maid's name. However, it was the first time we felt compelled to tip the maid. One of the outside maintainance men saw us having slight difficulty getting into room. He quickly came over to open the door and suggested how to better open it. He had not been summoned to open door but came over on his own initiative. |
Hotel improvement Perhaps a better discount on stays shorter than 3 day stays or include breakfast in the stay. Must add we thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant (even with us paying) and it was a nice change from the free breakfast offers at other hotels/motels. The survey website is slow loading from one page to the next and causes me to question if I want to finish survey. |
Additional comments The mattress compared with our home mattress and was first time I've ever slept well the first night in a hotel. We were very pleased with the discount offer for staying 3 consecutive nights. A little confusion with on line booking. One website offered free breakfast at same rate for the 3 nights. Apparently, this was not offered at Best Western website where I registered. All staff extremely attentive to details of our stay, i.e. excellent service at restaurant, extending check out time, request for extra blanket, and cleanest room. If the room had not just been remodeled, it had been cleaned and maintained to the level it appeared to have been recently remodeled. |

What they are saying about the ClockTower Inn on TripAdvisor:
" I would stay again. "
We snowboarded in Red Lodge but stayed in Billings due to the cancellation policies of the Red Lodge motels. The room was fine and we had no problems finding parking. Many dining places were in the area.
" Not what I expected, but definitely worthwhile "
Somehow, I expected a quieter location, but this place is right downtown across the street from the bus station. it's what I think of as old-fashioned California style, with most rooms upstairs over carport-type parking. That said, it was certainly pleasant, and the rooms were not noisy at all. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and I had no problems at all, apart from a bit of a walk from the room to the office.
" Nice Outdoor Pool on a Hot Day "
We chose the Best Western ClockTower Inn because it has one of the few outdoor pools in Billings. We were not disappointed!
The facility has been recently renovated. Our two bedded room had an unusual configuration -- it seemed to have originally been two rooms with a wall removed making it very spacious. The front desk staff wear Hawaian shirts as a uniform. There is a $15. pet charge with a grassy area in the complex with doggie bags set aside for pets. Stella's Restaurant next door is a great place for breakfast and lunch and it is only a short walk for dinner to the trendier establishments on Montana Avenue.
